For those intrepid souls who venture out into the
wilds of Markyate’s local countryside, a welcome sight has been seen. 3 new
benches have been placed at the following locations, one at the cross of
footpath 22 and 23 to the rear of Peggy’s Field, one on footpath 18 by Cotton
Spring and the third on footpath 17 by Buckwood Road. The benches provide a
welcome opportunity to sit, rest and contemplate the great views of the
Hertfordshire countryside. The PC wishes to thank Councillor Mayer for his
sterling work in getting these installed and P3 for making funding available. |
