The Parish Council appreciates public interest in the workings of the council and the various committees. For this reason meetings minutes can be viewed in this section to actively encourage public participation and engagement in the civic process. The Parish Council aims to publish meeting minutes within three weeks of the previous meeting. What are Parish Council Meetings?Parish Council meetings take place every four weeks, usually the first Tuesday of the month. Always check the Calendar for meeting dates. The Calendar can be found here.Meetings take place at 7.30pm in the Jones Room in the Village Hall. Parishioners are always welcome but are unable to take part in discussions; however, Public Questions in accordance with Standing Order 68 is an agenda item.. It is always helpful if contact is made prior to the meeting in order to put questions to the Parish Council. During meetings correspondence is presented to the Parish Council, together with planning applications and planning decisions, accounts for signing, care of the village which deals with items within the village which need attention, and reports on the Finance Committee, School Governors, Halls Committee, Youth Management and Areas of Specific Interest.
